The dataset contains the relative frequency shift values for the first eight weak-axis bending vibration modes obtained by simulation using Ansys, for a cantilever beam with the following dimensions: length 1000 mm, width 50 mm, and thickness 5 mm. The elements are hexahedral and have a 1 mm maximum edge size. The beam is fixed at the left end.
This dataset contains the input and target data generated by using a mathematical relation to predict frequency changes for cantilever beams affected by transverse cracks.
The input data is as follows:
- the column represents the first eight relative frequency shift values for out-of-plane bending vibration modes.
- each column represents the damage location and severity, after the hole beam is scanned, we produce cracks also at the fixed end to simulate imperfect boundary conditions.
Database containing the Input and Target values for training a neural network in order to determine the correction coefficient for a generated short time signal of 7Hz.
The Input data consists of the normalized values of the magnitudes in the DFT for different signal lengths.
The Target data consists of the normalized correction coefficients used to calculate the real frequency of the signal.
After the network is trained, the test data in the following dataset can be used for testing:
A set of data usable to train an ANN in order to find correction terms for different DFT amplitudes.
To generate more training data or data to test the network you can use the "Data generator". First generate signals with different parameters (number of samples, sampling frequency, amplitude, phase, frequency etc.) Afterward use "Python_DFT - SINC OK" to find the DFT amplitudes and the correction term.
The data contains the input and target values for training the machine learning model. The input contains the Relative Frequency Shifts for the first eight modes of transverse vibration for a cantilever beam that is affected by a transverse crack and in some scenarios also by imperfect boundary conditions.
Test data consists in short time signals with two frequency scenarios fo = 5 Hz and fo = 7 Hz.
To determine the accuracy of finding the correction term, for signals with any amplitude and frequency, by employing the trained network using the data from:
This dataset is generated by considering 20 segments of 50 mm along a cantilever beam of 1000 mm in length. Iteratively damage scenarios have been generated by altering Young's modulus for different segments. With an original relation, we generate as input data the Relative Frequency Shift for training a neural network having as output the altered sectors and also the severity of the alteration.
Abstract
Introduction: This study addresses a knowledge gap concerning the underlying mechanisms responsible for the efficacy of gratitude interventions. Specifically, we investigated how various response expectancies (positive, negative, and no manipulated expectancies) impact the effectiveness of the "counting blessings" intervention in influencing positive and negative emotions. Additionally, we explored the interaction between optimism levels (high, medium, and low) and these expectancies in the efficacy of the intervention. Method: A total of 142 participants underwent the counting blessings intervention for seven consecutive days, and 111 of them participated in a follow-up assessment one month later. Results: While no significant interaction was found between experimental conditions (Positive Condition, Negative Condition, Control Condition) and time regarding emotional outcomes, moderation analysis revealed differential interactions between optimism levels and expectancies, particularly influencing positive emotions. For participants with low optimism, positive emotions significantly increased from post-intervention to follow-up in the Positive Condition and from pre-intervention to post-intervention in the Negative Condition. Participants with medium optimism experienced an increase in positive emotions across all conditions from pre-intervention to follow-up and from post-intervention to follow-up. High optimism participants showed an increase in positive emotions from pre-intervention to follow-up and post-intervention to follow-up in the Positive and Control Conditions. Conclusions: Our findings emphasize the effectiveness of a brief gratitude journal and underscore the nuanced role of response expectancy, especially in interaction with the initial level of optimism, in enhancing positive emotions. These results hold significance for both theoretical understanding and clinical applications.

The project focused on creating a structured, research-ready digital database that systematically documents all Shakespearean intertextual references found in James Joyce’s Ulysses and their renderings in the three existing Hungarian translations of the novel. The database was built through several coordinated stages. First, all Shakespeare-related references were identified, extracted, and compiled into a unified corpus based on a full manual reading of the novel. Each reference was then verified, contextualised, and assigned a precise location in both the source text and each Hungarian target text, allowing direct comparison across translations.
Following data extraction, all entries were annotated according to a set of methodological criteria developed during the project. These include the type of intertextual reference (explicit quotation, allusion, paraphrase), the translation strategy employed, the degree of creative adaptation, and whether the translator relied on pre-existing Hungarian Shakespeare translations. The data were then organised into a structured digital format to ensure consistency, transparency, and reusability for future research.
The resulting database represents the first systematic, comparative resource dedicated to Shakespearean intertextuality in the Hungarian reception of Ulysses. It provides a searchable, academically citable dataset that supports translation studies, intertextuality research, digital humanities approaches, and comparative literary analysis.
The datasets registers the Romanian voters and their options at polls in the constituency of Ighiu / Magyarigen at the parliamentary elections in 1905 and 1910.
