Electrification is now touching all transportation sectors. This course gives an overview of the electrification landscape, roadmaps, methods for CO2 reduction, technology options and basic energy storage system sizing. This is complemented by an introduction to cost-benefit analysis to highlight the potential trade-offs required during electrification. Specific sector case studies are considered from the automotive, rail, marine and aerospace sectors.

In this project, funded by the hashtag ODA, WMG developed a comprehensive policy framework helping the policymakers in Malaysia with the acceleration of EV adoption.
As part of this collaboration between WMG, University of Malaya and the National Defence University, WMG conducted a roundtable discussion with the key stakeholders in the EV landscape.
