Creating the engineers of tomorrow with Dyson

In 2024 WMG at The University of Warwick and The Dyson Institute of Engineering and Technology celebrated their fourth and final cohort of Degree Apprentices at a ceremony held at Dyson’s UK R&D campus.

A total of 150 students, in four cohorts, successfully completed the BEng Engineering Degree Apprenticeship, through the WMG and Dyson partnership, which first began back in 2017. Together, WMG academics and Dyson engineers collaborated to ensure that the programme provided the best possible experience for the young engineers equipping them with the necessary skills and in turn addressing Dyson’s business needs.

In this video we spoke to Prof. Beverley Gibbs, Director of the Dyson Institute of Engineering and Technology to ask about what the impact has been on the business.
