Electrification of Transport Systems

Description

Electrification is now touching all transportation sectors. This course gives an overview of the electrification landscape, roadmaps, methods for CO2 reduction, technology options and basic energy storage system sizing. This is complemented by an introduction to cost-benefit analysis to highlight the potential trade-offs required during electrification. Specific sector case studies are considered from the automotive, rail, marine and aerospace sectors.
