It was the late Professor Lord Bhattacharyya who had the foresight and vision for NAIC, and the Centre is now recognised as one of the largest automotive research facilities in Europe.

Bringing together the brightest minds from industry and academia, NAIC is a
beacon for future mobility research and development. Located at the heart of the University of Warwick’s main campus, the Centre has become an integral part of campus life and it is home to hundreds of designers, engineers and researchers.
