ItemTranscription of a Dongxiang letterThis letter was published online on 18/12/2015 in the context of an article written by Qian Lihua (钱丽花) on the China Writer website (Qian 2015) ‘Implementation program of the Gansu Province’s cultural resources assessment, classification and grading’ (甘肃省文化资源普查和分类分级评估工作实施方案). The Cultural Research team, commissioned by the Civil Affairs Commission of Linxia Hui Autonomous Prefecture of the Gansu Province, aimed at collecting written materials in Tibetan, Dongxiang, Bao’an and Eastern Yugur languages, but also to evaluate the vitality of this written systems among these populations. The author indicates that the letter is a personal communication that has been collected during the investigation conducted in October 2015. This paper is based on this letter. It has been transcribed in digital format by Mana Mortazavian, a native Persian currently studying as a Master’s degree student at Ca’Foscari University of Venice. The letter was then read and recorded by Ma Fuming, a Sini-script calligraphy master and native of the Dongxiang language. The two authors of the present paper transcribed it in Dunxian pinyin and IPA, and translated it in English and Standard Chinese. The letter was read out loud and recorded by Ma Fuming; the recording will be soon available through Pangloss platform. The present work is presented as follow. Each sentence comprises two sets of transcriptions. The first set include a first line of the original handwritten text of the letter, a second line with the Persian numeric version of the same, and a third line with the Dongxiang pinyin transcription. The second set of transcriptions includes a first line of Dongxiang pinyin, a second line is IPA, a third line with the gloss and a fourth line with English and Chinese translation.

ItemUrinary protein concentrations in PRIORITY prior to randomizationUrinary protein concentrations in PRIORITY prior to randomization. The Early Detection of Diabetic Kidney Disease by Urinary Proteomics and Subsequent Intervention with Spironolactone to Delay Progression (PRIORITY) study was a multicentre, prospective, observational study with embedded randomised controlled trial, which recruited people with type 2 diabetes, normal urinary albumin excretion, and preserved renal function. All participants (observational cohort) were tested with the CKD273 classifier and classified as high risk (CKD273 classifier score >0·154) or low risk (≤0·154). Participants, who were classified as high risk were entered into a randomised controlled trial and randomly assigned (1:1) by use of an interactive web-response system, to receive spironolactone 25 mg once daily or matched placebo (trial cohort). The DC-ren project selected 79 patients from this cohort for in-depth molecular characterization for baseline measurements of blood and urinary biomarker candidates. The here described data set comprises urinary marker concentrations measured by Mesoscale as well as selected clinical routine lab measurements determined in whole blood. Data from a total 79 study visits are available.

ItemQuality of Working Life in Italian residential long-term care facilities: analytical framework, QWoRe project research report, Milestone 1.The QWoRe - Quality of Work on Residential long-term care services in Italy - project aims to provide an accurate and in-depth account of the quality of working life (QoWL) in Italian residential long-term care (LTC) services and to identify innovative strategies to improve workers' wellbeing. This report is the result of collaborative work within the QWoRe research team in the first phase of the project. It provides a multidisciplinary and integrated analytical framework, incorporating various theoretical, methodological, and empirical approaches. This framework is based on a comprehensive review of the literature on quality of work, including its conceptualization, operationalisation, measurement, determinants, and outcomes. The report discusses the challenges in defining and measuring quality of work, emphasizing the lack of consensus on terminology and the multidimensional nature of the concept. It also acknowledges the evolution of quality of work research, its interdisciplinary nature, and the contribution of various fields such as labour sociology, organisational studies, the psychology of work, the study of professions, the sociology of emotions, and feminist studies of care. Additionally, the report presents a review of international and Italian literature on QWoL in LTC residential settings, focusing on the specific dimensions, outcomes, and determinants of QoWL in this sector. The analytical framework based on the literature analysis and discussion and summarised at the end of the report will guide the project's data collection and analysis and contribute to the scientific and policy debate on QoWL.

Work in Residential Long-term care services: determinants and strategies. Il presente rapporto di ricerca costituisce il Deliverable del Milestone 2 - Analysing the main features and variations over time, space and sector of the quality of care work in Italy del progetto QWoRe.
