  Meet Degree Apprentice Graduate Alice - Applied Engineering Degree Apprenticeship

  Meet Alice, who is one of our Applied Engineering Programme graduates. Our Applied Engineering Programme (AEP) allows you to gain a BEng degree while working full-time. This course will develop you as a multi-disciplinary engineer, giving you a wide scope of career paths to follow. You will learn the fundamentals of engineering and technology including mechanical engineering, electrical and electronic engineering, materials and design. You will also develop knowledge and skills in business operations, innovation and cross-organisation efficiency. The applied nature of this course means you will complete work-based assignments and projects throughout, meaning you will gain a real understanding of the principles taught and benefits to businesses. This course also allows you to select options in the final two years so you can choose a specialist pathway that suits your career objectives and the needs of your company.   Meet Joanne Griffin, who is one of our MSc Engineering Business Management programme graduates. Our Part-time, MSc Engineering Business Management programme is open to company employees from a wide variety of sectors and has three start dates each year. Designed to enhance the management skill set of employees, this programme gives you a broad understanding of the processes and technologies used by engineering businesses, and the analytical tools to improve both internal and external operations. You will also develop skills for the research, analysis, and evaluation of complex business problems, and gain a methodical approach to problem solving and decision-making.   There is a recognised need for a new Healthcare Science Practitioner educated in ‘fusion sciences’, perhaps best described as a Digital Healthcare Scientist. We have developed a new BSc (Hons) Digital Healthcare Science programme and offer both a Full-time Undergraduate and Degree Apprenticeship option. The course teaches students how to promote health and wellbeing through individualised patient-empowerment solutions and behavioural change, using leading-edge science and technology to contribute to improving health services for individual users.
